The climate of the Dominican Republic is warm tropical, so there is a fairly stable temperature throughout the seasons, which is between 25 and 35 ºC. The hurricane season in the Atlantic area begins on June 1st and ends on November 30th. In the Dominican Republic, this season corresponds to the summer season and the beginning of autumn. Historically, most hurricanes have occurred in the month of September.
